March 2, 2009 – As the High Performance Coach, you will be working with our sports greatest assets – the athletes. At AWCA we pride ourselves on having passion and commitment not only to our sport, but also to the pursuit of high quality programs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This is a multi tasking position; specific areas of focus will be:

– Performance Planning
– Coaching & Mentoring
– Training Delivery
– All areas of ski preparation
– Travel
– Regional development activities

Preferred Education & Qualifications:

– Completion of a Post Secondary Degree, Diploma
– Three years coaching experience
– Knowledgeable in areas of athlete development and Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
– Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity and trust within the work environment and most of all to have a passion to bring out the best in our team
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
