March 15, 2009 (Duntroon, ON) – On Saturday it was the Quebec Jr. Skiers who took full advantage of glorious spring weather as they tore around the 5/7.5 km course sweeping the podium in the Juvenile Boys Division and grabbing three more medals in Juvenile Girls, Jr. Boys and Jr. Girls. Raphael Couturier from Levis PQ Dahria Beatty from Whitehorse, YT earned their 2nd Gold Medal in the Juvenile Boys and Girls Divisions. The top Ontario finisher was Bob Thompson from Woodstock 4th in Jr. Boys. The 2009 Haywood Ski Nationals continue on Sunday, March 15 with the long distance 30/50 km free technique mass start races.
