December 07, 2012 (Quebec City, QC) – Kikkan Randall and Jessica Diggins delivered the gold medal in the Women’s Team Sprint 1.6kmx6 FR with a historic performance that saw Diggins crash but she recovered to hand off to Randall for the final push. The veteran sprint star made no mistake driving to the front and held off all contenders for the incredible historic first team sprint GOLD for the USA. Their previous best was a silver by Randall and Diggins in Milan which followed a silver by Randall and Sadie Bjornsen in Dusselfdof.
