January 01, 2013 (Val Müstair, Switzerland) – For the first time ever the Tour de Ski has travelled to Val Müstair, Switzerland. It is also well know that it is the hometown of Swiss great Dario Cologna. FIS XC caught up with Cologna in Oberhof and he was kind enough to answer a few questions for us.
You were born in Val Müstair, Switzerland and that is still your registered Ski club. Even though you now reside in Davos, how often do you make it home?
DC: Approximately once a month
If I am a visitor to Val Müstair during the Tour de Ski, besides the racing what is one thing that I must see?
DC: The monastery – it’s on the UNESCO world heritage list
