January 18, 2013 (Lake Placid, New York) – The Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) kicked off its Nordic season today with the St. Lawrence Carnival in Lake Placid, NY as Anja Gruber (UVM) took the women’s 15km freestyle race and teammate Scott Patterson scored the victory in the men’s 20km freestyle competition.
