March 03, 2013 (Nove Mesto na Morave, CZE) – The USA’s Kate Fitzgerald tied for first place with Slovakia’s Daniela Kotschova in the women’s 3.3km FR at the Slavic Cup race in Nove Mesto na Morave, with both logging the same time of 8:02.9. USA teammate Sophie Caldwell also landed on the podium in third place. Rosie Brennan was 5th, Erika Flowers was 7th and Rebecca Rorabaugh placed 8th putting five skiers in the top 10. In the men’s race Patrick Caldwell was just off the podium in 4th with teammate Peter Kling in 10th.
