World’s First Foldable Ski Set to Take Industry by Storm

by skitrax.com

April 01, 2013 (Montreal, QC) – SkiTrax has learned that a new Canadian ski company is about launch an incredible new product – the world’s first foldable ski. Company officials were tight-lipped about the new ski but claim that they’ve already taken many orders in North America and Europe.

Following the same concept as foldable bikes the new invention features a unique hinge system that is durable and reliable allowing for quick and easy handling and storage. Apparently the concept is seamless and numerous ski test results, by World Cup skiers as well including Norwegian star Petter Northug, have all been better than anticipated. “I love it and can’t wait to win my first race on it,” commented Northug.

“This is exciting, completely new, and never been done before,” said a company official who added all information was coming very soon in an official company press release. “Tests at the top level are great and we’ve tweaked a few things to perfect the system.

“We missed the January ski trade shows because we just weren’t ready but now we are and preliminary talks are amazingly positive. Retailers love innovative ideas and say our new foldable ski is the injection the sport needs right now. We’ve spoken to many ski federations as well… this is the tip of the iceberg.”

SkiTrax has been promised samples for a test report – stay tuned for more on this breaking story…
