January 23, 2010 (Rybinsk, Russia) – Justyna Kowalczyk (POL) claimed another victory winning the women’s World Cup 15km Pursuit (7.5km C + 7.5km F) in Rybinsk (RUS) on Saturday. Kowalczyk finished 9.8 seconds ahead of Evi Sachenbacher-Stehle (GER) while Russian Olga Schuchkina took third spot on the podium followed by Yulia Tchekaleva in 4th, Irina Khazova in 5th and Evgenia Medvedeva in 6th. The German team put four in the top 10, with Stefanie Boehler in 7th, Nicole Fessel in 9th and Claudia Nystad in 10th. There were only 23 starters with no North American women competing.
