February 3, 2010 (Cantley, Quebec) – Brooke Gosling and Graham Nishikawa were the undisputed overall champions at the Haywood Eastern Canadian Championships Jan. 30-31. The Nakkertok Nordic Ski Club hosted a wonderful weekend of racing but they weren’t responsible for the chilly temperatures which hovered in the negative double digits.
Nishikawa solidified his Haywood NorAm lead with his victory in the 10km Freestyle, and is the FIS regional series leader for this period. For winning this stage of the Haywood NorAm series, FIS will pay expenses and add a start position for both Dasha Gaiazova, the women’s series leader, and Nishikawa at the post-Olympic World Cups in Scandinavia – all results below.
