November 15, 2013 – Petter Northug has signed a representation agreement with the Norwegian Ski Federation for the upcoming season. This means that he is eligible to participate in the World Cup, Tour de Ski and the Olympics.
It also means Northug will be able to take advantage of Ski Federation and Olympic Organization support. The Norwegian Ski Federation (NSF), in conversation with Northug, is keen to protect the interests of the association’s partners, as well as ensure that Northug can perform at his maximum potential.
The NSF’s partners help optimize the National team’s operations. “The NSF sponsors have been cooperative and solution-oriented, and therefore made it possible to sign a representation agreement with Petter Northug,” says Federation Secretary General Stein Opsal.
The NSF is pleased that Northug has signed a representation contract and look forward to an exciting winter with the Olympics as the highlight.
