November 24, 2013 (Bruksvallarna, Sweden) – Canada’s Chandra Crawford ended up 19th after qualifying 27th in the women’s 1 km Sprint FR FIS  race in Bruksvallarna on Sunday won by local legend, Charlotte Kalla (SWE), who scored the hat-trick winning all three races this weekend at Sweden’s official season start. Hanna Falk, the fastest qualifier, could not hold off Kalla in the final settling for second followed by veteran Ida Ingemarsdotter in third.

In the men’s race Teodor Peterson topped the field, reminding everyone of his Sprint Cup pedigree, with Simon Persson taking second and Gustav Erikkson in third – no North Americans competed.
