February 16, 2014 (Sochi, Russia) – The string of perfect competition evenings here in Sochi was due to run out at some point, like at 18:00 tonight when the Men’s 15K Mass Start was initially delayed for 1 hour, due to foggy conditions. Just after 19:00, when the conditions remained the same the competition jury decided to postpone the competition until Monday at 10 am local time. The postponement was due to fog not only in the stadium but also due to heavy fog on the tracks which created dangerous conditions. The new start time will be 10 am local time on Monday morning.
