March 30, 2014 – We are excited to present the first ever USASJ Virtual National Championships for U10/12/14 boys and girls; a project that we hope will further connect our community and serve to inform and inspire our young ski jumpers around the USA.

There was a great deal of impressive ski jumping across the country this winter.  So- while we pause to recognize the 41 athletes who qualified and submitted videos- may we also recognize that there is a great deal of talent that didn’t make the cut this year.  We hope that this event and these videos will give those jumpers the direction and motivation needed to make it next year.  All it takes is passion!  May you find it.

It’s hard to imagine but there is almost certainly a future Olympian in these broadcasts.  If not three or four or six!  But the beautiful thing about this sport is that it’s effects are equal on all, regardless of how far one takes it.  To have stood at the top of a jump and pulled yourself into the track, to have cast yourself to the wind, has shaped each of us meaningfully.
