June 10, 2014 – As the WADA athlete committee chair, Canadian cross-country skier Beckie Scott, Salt Lake City Olympic gold medalist, continues to work closely with WADA in their common goal against doping. ALL RIGHT we’ve got Beckie Scott just where we want her—shooting her mouth off—about being anti-doping—-4 year sanctions—realizing the druggers don’t care—having the clean guys speak out more—undercover investigations and investigators—-yes, yes and more yeses. We finally have a leader on the good side who is going to call it like it is. I love it and yes,a 4-year sanction and missing the Olympics in that cycle is a reality—I can’t tell you how much I love it.
The athletes know—-I knew and it was confirmed after years—there are coaches in Finland and Italy who will definitely get more then a handshake from me if we ever meet again. Yes, I am bitter.
I’m calling out FasterSkier for missing this announcement—we need everyone to spread the word—remember, we had a doping episode here in the states—so, it is possible and can happen.
There will always be someone willing to try it and others to help—don’t let it happen. Be a part of helping the North American skiers win the clean way.
I’m surprised there aren’t more comments with this announcement.
