February 14, 2015 (Oslo, Norway) – Leading the North American charge in Oslo today was Canada’s Nathan Smith placing 22nd in the men’s 10km Sprint with one penalty at 1:02 behind clean shooting winner Arnd Peiffer (Germany). Martin Fourcade, of France, was second at 3.3s back, while Russia’s Anton Shipulin took the bronze at 15.4s behind with perfect shooting as well.

Leif Nordgren was the top American in 29th with one penalty followed by Canada’s Scott Gow in 36th also with one penalty at 1:34.9 back. Brendan Green (Can) finished 39th at 1:40.7 with a single penalty while American Lowell Bailey had two misses placing 63rd at 2:15.6 behind. Christian Gow (Can) was 67th with one missed target and Tim Burke (USA) was 68th with three penalties. The IBU World Cup in Oslo concludes Sunday with the men’s and women’s relays.
