February 20, 2015 (Toronto, ON) – The first medal event of the Falun 2015 Nordic World Championships started things off with a bang for Team Canada in Sweden yesterday and got Canadian supporters registered in our SkiTrax FIS Fantasy Falun 2015 Contest some big points, thanks to Alex Harvey’s silver medal in the Sprint CL (read our coverage here). In the women’s race, Marit Bjoergen (NOR) took the win, while USA’s Sophie Caldwell earned top North American spot in 10th (read our coverage here).
