April 03, 2015 – The Cross Country Canada Women’s Committee is offering three grants of $325 to subsidize participation by our community members in the Conversation 2015 Conference on women in sport taking place at Laval University in Quebec City from June 9 – 12, 2015. This national conference aims to foster dialogue and the exchange of solutions moving toward improving the experiences of girls and women in the Canadian sport system.

• Applications should be sent to Martine Zilligen, Communications & Marketing Manager, at mzilligen@cccski.com, with subject line “Women’s Committee Grant”
• Applications will be accepted until midnight on Sunday, April 19, 2015
• In your application please provide a brief bio, including your current role in the cross-country ski community, and a short explanation of how you intend to use the knowledge gained at the conference to benefit our community (no more than 250 words please!)
• Successful candidates will be notified no later than Monday, May 4, 2015

Ideally, the grant recipients will work as a group to attend as many workshops as possible. The group of grant recipients will also be asked to provide a joint report to the Women’s Committee.
