3rd Annual AK Skimeister Results

April 05, 2015 (Girdwood, AK) – Here are the results from the 3rd Annual AK Skimeister won by Peter Ostroski as defending champ, Mark Iverson, a former APU skier originally from Steamboat Springs, Colorado, was 3rd. Lydia Blanchet finished 6th overall to claim the women’s title with Kikkan Randall, the defending champ not on the start line. Luke Jager was the top junior man and Zoey Hancock was the top junior woman.

Third Annual AK Skimeister Challenge is CONTINUOUS – here was the plan:
– Nordic Mass Start at Day Lodge – Chair 3 road to Top Chair 7- Tramway – Return to Transition/ Staging Area.  Length of course is 3k.
– Continuous into Alpine Leg – Athletes Ride Ted’s Express Chair 4, Race down LowerBowl/Waterfall GS Course to staging area
– Continuous into Bike Leg- Course Route – Chair 3 to Chair 7 to Nordic 5K loop.
– Back on Winter Creek Extension Trail with event finish line at Challenge Alaska building.  Length of course is 8-9k.
