Reporting to the Executive Director, the Marketing, Sales and Events Coordinator will be an integral part of Jackson Ski Touring Foundation.

As a passionate non-profit, we are looking for someone to join our team who will plan, organize and implement the organization’s marketing and promotion strategy, organize and execute events and manage our group and off-site sales program. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Marketing, Sales and Events Coordinator will be an integral part of Jackson Ski Touring Foundation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • -Develop fun and effective promotions for Jackson Ski Touring Foundation as a nonprofit and for our events, through updating social media, email promotions and updating our website.
  • -Communicate with industry marketing and community partners.
  • -Conduct member surveys and collect marketing data.
  • -Assist in planning, organizing and execution of various events.
  • -Represent Jackson Ski Touring Foundation at various events.
  • -Responsible for managing and proper execution of off-site sales program.

 Qualifications

  • -Qualified candidate requires excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • -Bachelor’s or Associates degree in related field.
  • -1 year minimum experience working in marketing, sales.
  • -Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and an unwavering commitment to JSTF’s mission.
  • -Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • -Must be comfortable networking with people and talking about JSTF’s mission with the general public.
  • -Knowledge of cross country skiing and the ski industry.
  • -Help with all other aspects of development & marketing may be required as needed.
  • This position will require work on weekends and some evenings

Jackson Ski Touring Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides recreational and competitive opportunities for cross country skiing and snowshoeing that enrich lives and promote a healthy lifestyle.  As an organization we are also focused on conservation and responsible land stewardship.
