July 17, 2015 – Next year, the annual cross-country season highlight will be celebrating a special anniversary with its 10th edition of the FIS Tour de Ski. Last week, all Organising Committees of the 10th FIS Tour de Ski, and representatives of FIS, FISMAG and Infront Sports & Media met in Val di Fiemme (ITA) to discuss plans for the special edition of the FIS Tour de Ski.

“The workshop was very successful and we are ready to make the 10th edition of the FIS Tour de Ski an unforgettable event,” FIS Cross-Country Event Coordinator Sandra Spitz said.
At the workshop in Val di Fiemme the group tackled many items ranging from common FIS Tour de Ski activities, communication plans, synergies as well as specials that are planned for the highlight of the 2015/16 season.
“I am sure that the FIS Tour de Ski 2016 will again be great. Cross-Country Skiing fans can look forward to not only a great competition programme at fabulous winter resorts, but they can as well expect special side events, cultural programme and celebrations. More details will be revealed in the autumn,” commented FIS Cross-Country Race Director Pierre Mignerey.
The 10th edition of the Viessmann FIS Tour de Ski performance by Craft Sportswear will take place from 1st – 10th January 2016 in Lenzerheide (SUI), Oberstdorf (GER), Toblach (ITA) and Val di Fiemme (ITA).
