August 04, 2015 – Working with the club’s board and management teams, the Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating youth and adult programs, organizing events, developing new programs and season schedules, coordinating facility bookings for programs, assisting with recruitment and training of volunteers, assisting with promoting programs and completing annual reports and evaluations of existing programs.

This position may be filled by more than one person responsible for one or more specific functions.

The Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Club is one of the largest clubs in Canada with a membership of over 1,300 and a five to six month ski season. Facilities include 85 km of groomed trails, and a chalet with a wax room, pro shop with rental equipment and change rooms with showers and saunas. Along with programs and events aimed at the beginning and recreational skier, the club has a long history of hosting major ski events.  In 2016, it will host the Haywood Ski Nationals.
