September 10, 2015 (Putney, Vermont) – The Putney School, a residential high school in Putney, Vermont is seeking a Head Coach, Nordic Skiing, with previous experience to run their competitive program for the winter trimester: December 1-12 and January 4 – March 5, 2016

Responsibilities:
– run the school’s nordic competitive ski program
– plan and execute practice 5x week
– participate in regional New England meets
– work with assistant coach(es)
– manage the wax room and oversee student equipment
– oversee trails; preparation/grooming
– coach a competitive team and nurture the Nordic ski community at the school
– optional – ski trail grooming for additional pay

Requirements
– coaching experience required
– previous work with high school students a plus.
