Live Streaming From 2016 U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships

January 02, 2016 (Houghton, Michigan) – The U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships presented by L.L. Bean, kick off Sunday, January 3 in Houghton, Michigan with fans being able to follow the action live each day through live streaming coverage courtesy of a partnership between Central Cross Country Ski Association (CXC) and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association.

In addition to live streaming from the U.S. Championships, the Tour de Ski stage race through Switzerland, Germany and Italy will also be streamed live each day through next Sunday on NBC Sports Live Extra. In addition, fans can watch daily TV coverage on Universal HD.

The U.S. Championships, which run January 3-9, start off with a 15/10k classic individual start. Junior, professional and collegiate skiers from across the nation will compete in four races over the weeklong event. Skiers will not only be competing for the podium, they will also fighting to earn a spot on one of USSA’s international racing trips including the Youth Olympic Games U23/World Juniors and the U18/Scando Trip.

The live stream is being provided at no cost to fans. But viewers are urged to help the cause by donating to CXC’s ‘Support our Sport‘ campaign to grow the sport of cross country skiing by allowing individuals of all ages and abilities an opportunity to try the sport.
