March 04, 2010 (Vancouver, BC) – The 2010 Winter Olympic Games are over, but the urine and blood samples taken during the final events are still being tested. And although these have been the cleanest recent Games to date, the record books can’t be closed until eight years from now. This allows the IOC to retest samples that may currently contain undetectable performance enhancers, but for which a test could be developed in the future.
