March 11, 2016 – After constant research and development process Ski wax company from Finland Vauhti Speed launch unique liquid hydrocarbon free cleaner and care product line for skin skies. Vauhti’s care products and trademarks are under patent application and therefore protected.

Reason and background for the development process of the hydrocarbon free cleaning and care agent came from the practical needs. So-called traditional cleaning and wax removers consists hydrocarbon compounds and therefore dissolve the glue, which attached the skin strip to the ski body frame. When cleaning the skin strip with traditional wax remover skin detaches from the ski frame and making it unusable.

We are proud that, as a result of intense development Vauhti has succeeded to create a solvent combination that eliminate the traditional cleaner’s problem and to submit respective patent applications, states responsible for Vauhti’s R & D Dr. Esa Puukilainen.

New hydrocarbon-free Vauhti Cleaning and Maintenance Products will be launch on the market in March 2016.

Skin Cleaner
• The only cleaner on the market, which has been developed especially for cleaning the skin strip of the skin skis.
• Effective, but gentle.
• Unique composition for cleaning skin strips of skin skis from any build-up dirt such as grip waxes, oils, resins, and grease coming from the ski track during ski use.
• The present composition does not comprise aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents as their presence even in small amounts could lead to detachment of the skin strip from the base of the ski.

Skin Care
• Liquid care product, which has been developed especially for maintenance of the skin strip of the skin skis.
• Effective, but gentle.
• Unique composition to improve the performance of the skin skis. It reduces build-up of
impurities from the ski tracks to skin strips, and prevents the risk of icing of skin strips, thus maintaining and improving both grip and glide of the skin skis.
• The present composition does not comprise aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents as their presence even in small amounts could lead to detachment of the skin strip from the base of the ski.
