March 23, 2016 (Toronto, ON) – We are excited to present the winners and final standings of the inaugural Ski Tour Canada 2016 Fantasy Contest after the final Stage 8 in Canmore, Alta. that saw Canada’s Alex Harvey and the USA’s Jessie Diggins finish as the top North Americans while Norway’s Therese Johaug and Martin Johnrud Sundby took the Tour titles and overall FIS World Cup crowns as well.
Team Northern Nords clinched the grand prize in the Fantasy Contest with 1,197 points winning our fabulous 1st Prize – a Salomon S-Lab Kit including Carbon Skate Lab Skis, SNS Pilot Carbon RS Bindings, and S-Lab Skate Pro Boots (value $1,360). Taking second was team cats on hats with 1,194 points to take home a High Sierra Snow Sports Canada Adjustable Wheeled Combo Bag (value $640) courtesy of Cross Country Canada. In third is Meet the Snosters with 1,185 points to claim a super Sportful Squadra Corse Jacket and Pants (value $415).
