May 06, 2016 (Montreal, QC) – Quebec Sports unveiled the identity of the 57 finalists from the 263 nominations submitted by sports federations. These finalists reach the final round of the 43rd Gala Sports Québec for the quality of performance and achievements between January 1 and December 31, 2015. The event will be held on Wednesday, May 25 at the Montreal Olympic Park, highlighting the 40th anniversary of the Montreal Olympics.

The selection committee is composed this year’s Ladies Claudine Douville (RDS), Ann Dow (former international athlete in water polo), Geneviève Brine (National Sports Institute of Quebec), Como Desrochers (Sports Council High Level Quebec .), Eric Gaudette-Brodeur (Sportcom), René Roy (Sherbrooke sport Excellence) and Bruno Déry (QUEBEC sPORTS) They identified the finalists in 19 categories – read more here.
