September 15, 2016 – Well it’s Fall, at least in the Okanagan it is. But, for those of you who love Summer, Fall is not a bad thing. There is still time to enjoy your summer activities throughout the fall. Yes, the mornings are a bit cooler. There might even be a bit more rain. But you can still run through the forest, mountain bike on the trails, cycle the country roads and paddle on the cooler waters. Fall is a season of transition and while you can still enjoy your summer activities you can also start to look forward to your winter sports.
Ski season is not far off. In fact, as I write this it is only 60 days until we get to glide on the Nordic trails. That also means I have 60 days to get into ‘ski shape’. Training for ski season starts now folks! Get fit, get strong and get limber. Here is a great article from Supercamp coach Marie-Cat Bruno that can help and will offer some great training ideas. We have some great new programs this year and additions to the regular Supercamp program. New guest speakers, beginner and advanced waxing workshops, video analysis sessions, take home material, a wine & yoga session and much more! Make sure to like and follow us on Facebook to get the latest updates on programs and trail conditions.
