January 08, 2010 (Anchorage, AK) – Kikkan Randall (USST/APUNSC) and Garrott Kuzzy (USST/CXC Team Vertical Limit ) lead the women’s and men’s 1.5 km Classic Sprint Qualifications respectively, a preview event for the upcoming 2010 Games, and the final event of the US XC Ski 2010 Nationals. Ida Sargent (Craftsbury Green Racing Project) and Holly Brooks (APUNSC) followed Randall in second and third while Mike Hinckley (APUNSC/Rossignol) and Chris Cook (Steinbock Racing) were in the lead group of men.
