November 06, 2016 (Labrador City, NL) – Seventeen industrious skiers registered to improve their skiing at the Glenn Bond Skate Ski Technique Camp at Menihek Nordic Ski Club in Labrador City, NL. The camp started on Nov. 3 and ran until Nov. 6, as skiers also took advantage of private lessons after the daily sessions.

The weather was great with sunshine and average temperature of -3C. Stellar conditions featured up to 60cm of natural snow and the Pisten Bully-groomed trails were out of this world, with so much snow it felt like mid-winter.

Along with local and Happy Valley/Goose Bay participants the camp featured skiers from as far away as British Columbia as great and abundant early-season snow was a big contributor. We even had a young skier from the Australian Junior National Team who came with Glenn Bond to train on-snow in Labrador.

There were happy faces all around and high praise and kudos for the excellent Glenn Bond Skate Ski Technique Camp.
