December 09, 2016 (Cable, Wisconsin) – Join us for the last CXC Junior Camp of the season in Cable, (WI) at the Telemark Condos, Tuesday December 27th through Friday December 30th. Available to Athletes Ages 14-17.

This camp will feature on-snow training with a focus on technique and tactical skill development to prepare junior skiers for the upcoming race season. Evening presentations will include race preparation, gear management and open discussions on ski training.

Coaches and athletes were fortunate to ski on-snow at our recent November CXC Junior Camp in Ironwood (MI)

Athletes arrived to marginal conditions which quickly made a turn for the better, allowing the group to ski a total of 11 times over the six-day camp. With evening presentations regarding race preparation and a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner this camp proved a well-rounded gathering among Midwest junior skiers and the CXC coaches!

When preparing your calendar for next year, be sure to keep in mind that CXC Open Camps are held once a month beginning in June and ending in December. Each camp has a separate focus including volume, strength, technique, fitness testing, intensity, and race preparation. CXC Open Camps are a great way for junior skiers to meet and train with like-minded peers and learn from experienced coaches from across the Midwest!
