January 19, 2017 (New Gloucester, Maine) – CCSAA, in conjunction with Pineland Farm, is offering a NE Grooming clinic with hands on grooming workshops. Clinic topics will be specific to NE including ice and low snow. much of the discussion will be round table format. This clinic will include both large machines and quad tracks and snowmobiles. More information coming shortly.

8am – Registration & Coffee (meet at Pineland Outdoor Center)
8:00-9:00 – Equipment expo, visit with reps
9:00 – Introduction of experts, discussion of how this will run
9:15-9:45 – Indoor – Snow Science and When to groom, when not to groom
9:30-10:30 – Session #1 – Pre-op inspection of Pisten Bully
Session #2 – Pre-op inspection of Husky
Session #3 – Pre-op on a snowmobile and Quad Track for grooming
10:30-Noon – Group #1 – Booked 30min in a cat with a master groomer
Group #2 – Time on the tracked machines with implements
Noon-12:45 – Lunch at the Market
12:45-1:15 – Indoor – Equipment Recovery round table – What do you do when your equipment goes down
1:00-2:30pm – Group #2 – Booked 30min in a cat with a master groomer
Group #1 – Time on the tracked machines with implements
2:30-3:30pm – Indoor – Pineland’s approach to choosing and setting up the equipment, power source, ergonomics, etc
3:30pm – Low Snow Grooming Round table and beers with reps in the Nordic Center –
Cost
$40 to includes coffee and lunch, $60 for non – members
