February 12, 2017 – Today, the CSM mourns the loss of one of our skiers. An incident happened on the trail, a skier suffered a cardiac arrest and in spite of all the efforts by our medical staff, the skier passed away. His family has already been notified. The entire marathon family and all our skiers are with his family in thoughts and we will commemorate his memory with a minute of silence at Sunday’s start. The skier has not been identified-ed.
