October 08, 2018 – Shocking video by a whistle-blower reveals major security gaps in the Olympic Doping Controls at Pyeongchang 2018. Doping samples and confidential documents were apparently openly accessible in the control room without supervision according to German ARD broadcaster on their Sportschau.de website. The fridge where samples are stored was unlocked and unsupervised in the video. ARD’s doping editorial team claims these are not individual cases and lawyers claim that as such any legal cases brought forth can be easily be thrown of court. The IOC not WADA is responsible for Doping Controls at the Games and apparently concerns raised by a German doctor sent to the IOC remain unanswered.
