Canada’s Moser 15th and Grandbois 16th in Sprints at IBU Junior Worlds – USA’s Levins 29th

February 02, 2019 (Osrblie, Slovakia) – On Saturday Canadian Nadia Moser was 15th to lead the North American women in the women’s 7.5km Sprint with three penalties while Chloe Levins was the top American in 29th with one missed target. Ekaterina Bekh of Ukraine cleaned for the title at the IBU Junior World Championships with Kamila Zuk of Poland in second and Hanna Kebinger of Germany in third.

Canada’s Leo Grandbois shot clean to finish 16th with teammate Trevor Kiers just behind in 17th with two penalties in the Men’s 10km Sprint as Norway’s Vebjoern Soerum shot clean for the win. The top American was Lars Hammernes Leopold with two standing penalties to place 54th. Russia’s Said Karimulla Khalili as second and Soerum’s teammate Sivert Guttorm Bakken was third.
