FIS Ask the Athlete for Clean Sport Campaign

February 27, 2015 (Falun, SWE) – As part of the first ever Legacy Outreach Program, the leading Nordic skiers from across the world participated in the Ask the Athlete – Clean As Snow campaign at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun (SWE) last week.

The WADA-FIS campaign, which followed the inaugural Ask the Athlete campaign at the Asian Summer Games in Incheon (KOR) last year, included the views of a series of skiers who were competing at the Championships.

The skiers gave their thoughts on anti-doping in sport and answered questions posed to them by fellow competitors.

The Legacy Outreach Programme which took place from 19th-21st February has been a collaboration between WADA and FIS. The programme promotes the clean sport “Say No To Doping” “Clean As Snow” message to competing athletes and their entourages.
