40 athletes and 16 coaches from 15 nations* participated in the camp which included both sporting and social components uniting young athletes from developing ski nations. Armenia, Lebanon and Turkey joined for the first time.

Led by three highly motivated coaches, Alberto Rigoni, Alessio Giancola and Matteo Betta, activities included two daily training sessions, core stability exercises and a specific seminar on ski preparation. Furthermore, participants were able to exchange views with former Cross-Country skier Magda Genuin, who provided valuable tips from her experience as a World Cup athlete.

Under the framework of the FIS Development Programme, the camp was organised and co-ordinated by Sandro Pertile (ITA) in collaboration with the FIS Office.

Attention now turns to the next Nordic camp in Rasnov (ROU) which will be held from 14th-23rd January 2016 in the disciplines of Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined.
