November 23, 2015 – Former Estonian XC skier Kristina Smigun-Vahi, who is under suspicion for doping, could be stripped of two gold medals she won at the 2006 Turin Olympic Winter Games according to Norwegian television channel TV2, cites an article on baltic-course.com. Scott has already retroactively received a gold medal from the 2002 Salt Lake City Games when both Russian women who finished ahead of her tested positive for banned substances.
