November 21, 2014 (Gallivare, Sweden) – SkiTrax caught up with Justin Wadsworth, the Head Coach of the Canadian National Ski Team, that is currently at their final training camp in Gallivare, Sweden. The squad is preparing for their first FIS competition of the season this weekend. On the roster representing Canada are Alex Harvey, Devon Kershaw, Ivan Babikov, Len Valjas, Perianne Jones, Emily Nishikawa, along with development skiers Jesse Cockney, and Graeme Killick. Wadsworth reported that the snow is great, the team is ready, and the field will be small but strong as the Russian, Czech, and Swedish crews, including Marcus Hellner, are out in force. Athletes will contest 1km Classic Sprints as well as 10/15km Classic events over the two days.
