Hey Alex—Oberhof has been part of Germany since 1990—yes it par of DDR or East Germany before then—-the weather sucked when it was the DDR and it still sucks now. There’s a saying about never going to Oberhof with out your rain gear—all of it—tops and bottoms.
I can remember one year that we could see the roller ski track through the snow it was so thin—but the races went on.
Maybe a sunny day next year when you are in Oberhof, BRD to get the TdS underway.
Super couple of days for you and Devon!!!
