December 18, 2009 (Toronto, ON) – Following the exciting Davos World Cup races this past weekend only three points separate the top three WCup Contest leaders as SwedishP+ is in front with 289 points followed by HJL in second with 287 and BigParkaPeople in 3rd with 286. There was a slight delay finalizing the standings after Davos as a question from a contestant lead us to an investigation and a points glitch was discovered.

To clarify leader’s jersey points for each discipline – sprint or distance – are only awarded when that discipline is raced. Overall jersey points count with every race except team events which only apply to the Nations Cup not individual racers. Some point fluctuations resulted and we apologize and thank contestants for noticing this glitch.

The World Cup train debuts in Rogla, Slovania this weekend and then following the holiday break the fourth annual Tour de Ski begins on Jan. 1, 2010. Look for the launch of our international FIS Fantasy Tour de Ski 09.10 Contest this Monday with more prizes and more racing.
