May 24, 2017 (Huntsville, ON) – Arrowhead Nordic Ski Club, located in the stunningly beautiful Muskoka district comprised of lakes and rolling Canadian Shield, is in need of a Head Club Coach and Masters Coach positions to be filled.

The Club is within Arrowhead Provincial Park Nordic Ski Centre a 5-minute drive from the downtown of Huntsville. The park has 42-kilometer machine groomed ski trails catering to both skate and classic techniques. The club has a skills development program with over 225 young participants, 18 youth racers and has played host to numerous provincial events and a national level event. Huntsville is a community of 20,000 approximately 2 hours north of Toronto with impressive year round recreational, cultural and educational amenities.

We are looking for a passionate ski coach to lead the ambitious growth of our club’s program and help our athletes build confidence in technical skill and athleticism to participate appropriately at the various stages of the Canadian Sport For Life (CS4L). This coach will also be the mentor to other coaches who are developing and encourage them to the next levels of their coaching education.
