November 13, 2017 (Calgary, Alta.) – Foothills Nordic Ski Club has been given the green light to make snow at the Shaganappi Golf Course in Calgary’s southwest and thus provide even more cross-country skiing opportunities at no charge for Calgarians. Last year the city allowed the club to make snow, run lights and manage the parking lot at the Confederation Golf Course in northwest Calgary and that successful pilot project is expanding this year.
