September 19, 2015 (Sovereign Lake, BC) – Sovereign Lake Nordic Club is proud to host the 2016 National Nordic Sports Grooming Conference taking place in Vernon, BC this coming spring April 4-6. Last hosted by Sovereign in 2002, this conference provides a constructive opportunity for grooming professionals and volunteers from across North America to be a part of a National Discussion on the latest in winter and summer grooming technologies, methods, and delivery for both recreational and racing trail systems. The event will showcase the latest in technology from all major Grooming Implement and Machine Manufacturers.

Location: Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre
Cost: $225 pp

The joint trail networks of Sovereign Lake Nordic Club and Silver Star Mountain Resort provide over 105km of daily groomed trails, making it the largest continuously groomed network of cross country ski trails in Canada.  The high altitude of Silver Star Provincial Park provides the area with a distinct advantage. This, in addition to world-class grooming and outstanding early season ski conditions continue to provide some of the best cross country skiing possibilities in the world.
