January 10, 2017 (Heber City, Utah) – U18 racer Remi Drolet of the Blackjack Ski Club in Rossland, B.C., won the Junior Men’s 10km CL mass start race, leading a Canadian podium sweep. Drolet’s time of 31:41 was nearly thirty seconds ahead of his closest competitor, Ryan Jackson of Team Hardwood. Third place went to Gareth Williams of the BC Ski Team, while Hunter Wonders of APU Nordic Ski Center was the first American across the line in fourth place overall.
