December 11, 2015 – Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) director general Ramil Khabriev resigned on Thursday at a meeting of the organizations founders, according to a cbc.ca article. The resignation comes in the wake of RUSADA being deemed “non-compliant” and suspended by WADA after recent revelations of widespread and government-backed organized doping in sport. A WADA delegation is currently visiting Russia with the goal establishing how an anti-doping program can be run during this period of non-compliance. Read the cbc.ca article
