Share the Road with Devon Kershaw on June 22

June 12, 2016 (Sudbury, ON) – One of Canada’s most accomplished and decorated xc skiers, Devon Kershaw, a multi-time Olympian and FIS Nordic Worlds champion, is back in his native Sudbury to host the 7th annual “Share the Road” Ride on June 22. Cyclists of all ages and abilities are welcome to raise awareness for bike safety and healthy lifestyles.

The Share the Road Cycling Coalition (SRCC), founded by Eleanor McMahon, is an Ontario-based non-profit organization, which promotes bicycling as a mode of transportation, recreation and fitness through provincial advocacy.

Kershaw and McMahon share a common tragedy of losing loved ones through cycling accidents. McMahon lost her husband OPP Sergeant Greg Stobbart, who was killed while on a training ride on his bike in June 2006, and Kershaw’s former girlfriend, Sophie Manarin was also killed on a training ride in 2001.
