January 13, 2009 (Toronto, ON) – Thanks to a few contestants we discovered that the 20 Bonus Team points, for teams which had all members finish, were designated but not allotted to any team due to an unexpected glitch. When allocated some final team positions changed but the top 25 teams remained unchanged and all prize winners were unaffected. We apologize for this and thank contestants for keeping us on our toes.

We’re pleased and excited to announce the winners of the inaugural SkiTrax Fantasy FIS Tour de Ski 2008.09 Contest – the grand prize winner is Team Jeffries with 832 points. It was a tight race throughout the 9-day, 7-stage competition, with only 8 points separating the top four final teams.

Dario Cologna (Sui) and Virpi Kuitunen (Fin) were the overall 2008.09 TdS winners that featured an exciting finish on Stage 7 with Canada’s Ivan Babikov taking the win on the final stage.
