March 15, 2015 (Toronto, ON) – We are pleased to announce the leaders of the SkiTrax FIS Fantasy World Cup Contest after round eight of the 2014/15 Viessmann XC FIS World Cup in Lahti, Finland – pls look for the standings after Drammen early this coming week.
In Lahti the USA’s Kikkan Randall was back on the podium in the women’s FR Sprint with teammate Jessie Diggins in 4th while American male sprinter, Andy Newell, was 8th in the men’s race – read more here. On day two Canada’s Alex Harvey finished 17th in the men’s 15kmCL – click here – while American Sadie Bjornsen took home a solid 14th with teammate Jessie Diggins in 17th in the women’s 10km CL – read more here.
In the contest standings, team Heckioda, VT has taken over the lead with 1,108 points as team ShoSho IL Skrim 3000 moves down into second with 1,099 points. Team Sockeye holds onto third with 1,096 points.
