June 06, 2012 (Park City, UT) – In this edition of Talkin’ with the Gravy-Train, Peter Graves speaks with USSA’s Joey Caterinichio (Anchorage) recently named as the USSA’s new Nordic Program Manager for their cross-country, Nordic Combined and Ski Jumping Programs. Her main responsibilities include operating the domestic system for all competitions at all levels, overseeing officials education, and spearheading junior development projects. In addition she oversees projects that include the Olympics, World Championships, U23 and Junior World Championships, as well as the coordination of sport committees. Caterinichio has a long history of ski racing and coaching both international and domestic projects, most recently coaching for Alaska Nordic Racing. We caught up with her after the recent USSA Convention in Park City, Utah, for her thoughts on her new position and goals ahead.
